Mission Statement:
AMP is a non-profit 501c3 organization founded on the ideal that incredible art can be done everywhere – and that includes at home right here in the suburbs of Atlanta! The founders of AMP are all parents of Georgia High School graduated artists. These artists include musicians, performing artists of all sorts, and visual artists. You name it, and we love it! And because we love it – we want to see more of it at home. We want to bring the many exceptional artists this state is producing home during their summer. We aim to offer professional quality work experiences with a fair wage. We also hope to provide a better than average living situation for most, which is their home! Non local cast members will be accommodated in some way too. If you are cast – you are part of our new family!

Additionally, we believe in the concept of whole show joy! Every person and every element of the show is essential – from the person moving the set pieces to the primary lead. The show cannot happen without all members of the team. We want to foster connections for all members of the cast and crew through this experience and build stronger in-state bridges for each person involved in our community.

We strive to mirror the community we have had the chance to raise our children in through our casting and staffing practices. This community is diverse, loving, kind, and truly exceptional. We want to perform shows that show the joy of our artists at their very core. We aim to attract the community we live in and around with our show choices as well. We want to make people who don’t know they miss theater come see our shows! We want to engage all members of the community with some aspect of the work we do every summer – and throughout the year. We believe theater is for the masses!

We want you – Georgia natives to be bigger consumers of this incredible art form. We hope to find ways to engage your mind and spirit with the incredible hearts of the people we hope to bring to the stage and the creative minds we are able to staff to produce each show. We want to entertain you in your own backyard with our own home grown talent. Starting NOW we work to bring this to life with our first Spring season of workshops and a summer show to blow your mind!
